January 24 – Kids Go4Fun program comes to Strathfield

Strathfield Council is pleased to be supporting a free fun program for children to become fitter, healthier and happier this term.

The Go4Fun program is a 10 week healthy lifestyle program aimed at children aged 7 to 13 and their parents. Go4Fun aims to improve health, fitness, self-esteem and confidence in children who are above a healthy weight.

The program will run in term one from Monday 4 February on Monday and Wednesday afternoons 4.30pm-6.30pm and includes games, activities, tips and healthy food, label reading and portion sizes.

Strathfield Council is proudly supporting the free Go4Fun program being held at the Dutton Centre, 40 Augusta Street Strathfield.

Mayor of Strathfield Cr Gulian Vaccari said the Go4Fun program is a great opportunity for children and families to make positive changes.

“The Go4Fun program has a range of benefits for children and families who want to make changes to their lifestyle choices and diet and exercise habits. I encourage all Strathfield parents to consider whether their child might be suitable for this program and to get involved, it could held change their lives,” said Cr Vaccari.
