HSC Art Exhibition 2017
Strathfield Council will be hosting the 2017 HSC Art Exhibition for its 6th year at Town Hall as local talents are showcased from 30 November – 5 December. This year, 11 schools will be participating with over 78 artworks entered for consideration, including guest exhibitors from Sister City in Gapyeong, South Korea and Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School.
The HSC Art Exhibition provides students with the opportunity to creatively express themselves through a medium of their choice. This year Council are delighted to feature Arts Dreaming, which is a platform of communication for young indigenous artistic learners enrolled at Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School. Council values and acknowledges the importance of sustaining indigenous cultures so that the next generation of creative cultural visionaries may thrive.
The artworks will be judged by a panel comprising of Mayor of Strathfield, Cr Gulian Vaccari, Art Dealer, Kevin Hill, Art Teacher at Strathfield Art and Design Institute, Jae Hee Cho and Director/Artist at Gallery NTK, Norma Tahhan.
