Strathfield Enviro Squad
Strathfield Enviro Squad is Council’s program to support local schools with encouraging students, teachers, staff, parents and our wider community to implement better waste management practices by recycling, composting and worm farming.
The program provides schools with workshops for teachers and students, as well as branded supporting material outlined below in step 2.
Students will need to come up with a school project action and implementation plan, then develop a home project, and finally work on a community project to engage their school community and surroundings.
The program is free and supported by the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment.
Strathfield Enviro Squad starts after schools confirm their interest and complete a baseline survey.
