Use Council’s fortnightly recycling collection (yellow lid bin) to recycle your used plastic bottles and containers, aluminium and steel cans (including empty aerosol cans), glass bottles and jars, paper and cardboard and liquid paper board (milk and juice cartons).
Your recycling bin is collected on the same day as your garbage bin.
To recycle correctly:

• Remove lids from bottles and containers and give them a quick rinse before placing them in the recycling bin
• Flatten plastic and cardboard containers to make more space in your recycling bin
• Tear large cardboard items into smaller pieces to prevent them from getting stuck in the bin
• Do not put items in plastic bags, as they cannot be recycled.

Please do not put the following in the recycling bin:

• Medical waste (including syringes)
• Plate glass
• Neon tubes and light globes
• Plastic bags
• Green waste
• Garbage
• Polystyrene
• Meat trays
• Nappies
• Ceramics
• Car parts
• Paint tins
• Plastic food wrapping (including lolly wrappers)
• Lids from any containers
• Other non-recyclable material
