If you want to place chairs, tables, advertising boards/A-frames, display goods or any other equipment on the footpath or have an event outside your shop or business, a Footpath Trading permit is required.

There are strict guidelines regarding what and where equipment or products can be placed to ensure that pedestrians have unobstructed and safe access to our footpaths at all times, while maintaining the visual amenity of our streetscapes.
