School Holiday Programs

There are a number of activites children can do during the school holidays.

Strathfield Library holds a number of activities during the school holidays to keep children entertained. 

Council also offers School Holiday Programs for children aged 5-17 years.  Places are limited and offered on a first in first served basis, so make sure you get in early.  Click here for current program.


Booking and Registration Conditions

Please read carefully over the following conditions before agreeing to sign the form opposite.

Bookings
Registration is essential prior to the day of activity. Activities have a nominal booking fee or charge and are non-refundable. Bookings will only be made and secured for the specified activity once the form opposite has been signed by a parent/guardian and payment being received by Council. Separate registration forms are needed for each child or young person per activity. Registration forms and booking fees are made payable at Council's Customer Service Centre 65 Homebush Rd, Strathfield.

Age Restrictions
The Holiday Program caters for age groups 5-9, 10-13, 14-17 years only. Please make sure the enrolled child or young person fits the age requirements as the activities are specifically tailored to the ages listed.

Supervision
School Holiday Program activities or events are fully supervised by qualified community services staff.
 
Outdoor/Physical Activities
Participants must wear comfortable clothes, hat & closed in shoes/runners.

Activity & Participant Cancellations
All activities are subject to change. Outdoor activities are influenced by environmental factors, which may alter activities on the day. For safety reasons, outdoor activities may be postponed or cancelled at Council's discretion. There are no refunds.
If for some reason you cannot attend an activity, please advise Council on 9748 9999 as soon as possible.

Parent/Guardian Attendance
Parents or guardians who wish to attend non-excursion activities are kindly requested not to approach the children due to Child Protection issues.
