Strathfield Council will host this year’s first Area Community Forum on 7 May at the Belfield Bowling Club from 6.00pm.
Mayor of Strathfield Paul Barron is inviting residents and community groups, in particular those from the Strathfield South, Greenacre and Belfield areas to attend and share their feedback on issues of concern in their neighbourhood.
“The Area Community Forums provide an opportunity for residents to talk face -to-face with Council and discuss their community concerns in an informal setting.
“The forums also give residents the opportunity to find out more about what is happening in their local area and Council’s latest projects and initiatives,”
“Council is committed to ensuring our residents have their say in the way we develop and run our facilities for the benefit of our community, said Mayor Barron.
The upcoming forum will highlight current sustainability projects, playground improvements, park projects, street light improvements, road works just to name issues.
