Mayor’s Message

The Town Centre project is moving forward with the final draft of the concept Master Plan now on public exhibition.

The primary aim of this project is to rejuvenate the Strathfield Town Centre, creating a vibrant meeting place in our community, where even more people will want to meet, visit and shop.

This project on completion will have many positive benefits for the Strathfield Municipality including improved access to transport through an underground bus interchange, separate vehicle access, enlargement of Strathfield Square as a public space, community multipurpose facilities, and pedestrian friendly thoroughfares. For further information visit Council’s website at www.strathfield.nsw.gov.au  or call 9748 9999.

I encourage you to provide your feedback to Council to ensure that the final Master Plan is one that is inspired and owned by our community.
