Strathfield Main Library at Homebush is equipped with four listening posts for the listening enjoyment of library patrons. Three listening posts are located on the ground floor near Rochester Street and one on the first floor in the Young Adult reading area. Each listening post contains three CDs. The CDs will be changed weekly. The listening post upstairs will play popular music but those downstairs will cover a more diverse range. The listening posts remain locked unless a staff member is changing the weekly play list.

The playlist for the week will be displayed near the listening posts. The CDs in the listening posts may be reserved.
