Council provides a Home Library Service provides to residents who are unable to visit the Library due to disability or lack of mobility. Volunteers deliver pre-selected materials on a fortnightly or monthly basis to the home or nursing home of the resident. Council also offers a community bus service, which visits the library on the first Wednesday of each month. Strathfield Home Library Bus Visit transports residents who wish to visit the Library but find it difficult because of reduced mobility or lack of transport. Residents are collected from their home addresses. A volunteer travels with the bus to assist residents.
