The Strathfield Main Library is located at 65-67 Rochester Street Homebush.
Strathfield Library has 1 large meeting room and 3 small interview rooms available for casual hire.
Booking Procedures
To request a booking, please complete the attached forms and send via fax 9764 1034, by mail marked: Library Meeting Room Booking, Strathfield Council, PO Box 120, Strathfield NSW 2135. Forms can also be lodged in person at Council's Customer Service Centres at Strathfield Council or Strathfield Library. For further information, call Council on 9748 9999.
Ironbark Room – Meeting Facility
The Ironbark Room seats up to 80 people and can be divided into two sections, one which allows access to the kitchen facility, the other with access to the audio visual equipment. Each section will seat up to 40 people.
The Ironbark Room is available for hire during the following hours:
- 9:00 am to 10:00 pm - Monday to Saturday
- 10:00 am to 6:00 pm - Sunday

Acacia, Grevillea and Melaleuca Rooms – Interview Rooms
The Acacia and Grevillea Rooms seat a maximum of eight people.
The Melaleuca Room will seat up to three people.
The Acacia, Grevillea and Melaleuca rooms are only available for hire during library operating hours.
The hours of operation of Strathfield Main Library are:
- 9:30 am to 8:00 pm - Monday to Thursday
- 9:30 am to 6:00 pm - Friday
- 9:00 am to 4:00 pm - Saturday
- 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm - Sunday
