Strathfield Council sponsors a free online tutoring service for students from year 4 to year 12. The services is provided by Tutoring Australia where help is provided by trained professional tutors.

You can connect to the tutoring service through computers in the library you can also connect through remote access by using your library card number.  Your tutor is:

• Available for school students from Years 4 through to 12
• Available Monday to Friday from 4.00pm to 8.00pm
• Subject areas covered include: Maths, English, Science, Assignment research and Study skills

How to access Your Tutor

1.  Connect to Your Tutor from home (using their library membership card number) or a library computer, Monday to Friday from 4pm to 8pm. 

2.  A screen, like the image above, will appear on your computer screen.  Then type in your Library card membership number.

3.  Students first select their subject and years level

4.  They then enter the Online Classroom where they are connected to a live tutor

5.  The student asks their question and the tutor works through it with the student
