HSC Collection

The HSC Collection contains items that enhance textbooks and special areas of study eg Excel practice workbooks, appraisals for HSC English, and various articles from INFOCUS. INFOCUS is a resource prepared by the State Library of NSW aimed at the needs of HSC students.

This collection is expanded as the curriculum changes. Items are available to use and/or photocopy in the library but cannot under any circumstances be borrowed. This collection is for use by all Strathfield Library borrowers and to allow everyone opportunity to access this resource, it is a closed collection within the library.

Articles from the Sydney Morning Herald a range of topics can be asccessed from this file. Subjects covered are particularly helpful to HSC studies eg. articles relating to journey, natural disasters etc.. Information from this file can be used in the library or photocopied.

Legal Information Access Centre

Strathfield  Main Library has an up to date and comprehensive Legal Information Access Centre. This collection is housed with the reference material but as a separate collection. As well as being of general interest it is of particular importance to students studying HSC Legal Studies. This collection may be only used in the library, however there are many helpful pamphlets which may be taken free of charge.
