Strathfield Council would like to inform the community of works within Chain of Ponds Reserve, Cave Rd, Strathfield South.

Council will be carrying out improvement works based on the modified concept plan adopted by Council in 2008. Works will include:

•    Construction of a bioretention swale to treat stormwater
•    Construction of a garden bed near the corner of Cave Rd and Morgan Place
•    Other park improvement works including additional seating areas for recreation

Works are expected to commence in mid May and will span over several weeks. During this time, selected areas of the reserve will not be accessible, however the works will have minimal impact on pedestrian access through the reserve.
