Strathfield Council is committed to eliminating and preventing discrimination and harassment in the workplace through the implementation of EEO principles and programs for all potential and existing employees in relation to their recruitment, promotion, transfer, remuneration and conditions of employment, training and working environment throughout the course of their employment with Council.
By promoting EEO principles, Council provides opportunities for employees to develop their skills and abilities to their fullest potential in a non-discriminatory and harassment free environment. This, in turn, develops a positive and motivated workforce focussed on productivity, workplace co-operation and efficiency.
