Volunteers undertake work of their own free will without payment and for the benefit of the community, as well as their own personal skill development and/or enjoyment and fulfilment.
There are a number of volunteer-based organisations and programs in the Strathfield Municipality including Meals on Wheels, Friends of Strathfield Library (FOSL) and the State Emergency Service (SES). Council also has the Bushcare program, which is a volunteering program. Volunteering opportunities are available for various days and times weekly, fortnightly and monthly to suit your availability.
