Do you have a backyard swimming pool?

Recent amendments to the Swimming Pools Act 1992 mean that from 29 April 2013 owners of all swimming pools and indoor or outdoor spas will be required to register their pool on the NSW Pool Register.

The new legislation aims to reduce drownings in NSW and improving safety for families and children.

To register a pool, go to the NSW Government Swimming Pool Register, go through the checklist and complete the online registration form.
