The Strathfield Branch Library closed on Friday, 18 July after Council approved the construction of the new Strathfield South Community and Library Centre.

The approved facility will retain and enhance branch library services, as well as providing meeting facilities that allow the community to participate in meetings, activities, classes and functions.

Council has made arrangements to ensure users of the High Street Branch Library are not inconvenienced during construction works.
